Jailer 2 Sold For Massive Price

After the massive success of Jailer, expectations are very high for its sequel Jailer 2.

Rajinikanth returns in the lead role and the film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The shooting is almost complete and the makers are planning to release this action entertainer in August.

The film has already created a record with its OTT deal. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights for a huge Rs 160 crore, covering all languages.

This is the highest deal ever for a Tamil film. Compared to this the first part’s digital rights were sold for Rs 75 crore, making the sequel’s deal more than double.

Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu and Mirnaa reprise their roles while SJ Suryah plays the main villain. Anirudh composes the music and Sun Pictures produces the film.
